About the Teachers

Miss Olivia Clark
 

Miss Clark is starting her second year in the Avon Local Schools, teaching K-2 General Music and co-teaching 6th grade Orchestra with Mrs. Willett. She is primarily a cellist, but also loves playing viola and singing. Miss Clark is also on staff at the Baldwin Wallace Community Arts School, previously serving as the Assistant Director for the New Horizons Orchestra program. She is also an active contract musician in the Cleveland area, playing for weddings, church services, events, and pit orchestras. Miss Clark currently resides in North Royalton, and she enjoys cooking, knitting, traveling, and napping outdoors in her hammock.

Mrs. Peggie Willett

Mrs. Willett received a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Baldwin Wallace College and a Master of Music Education degree while on assistantship to the Dean of Music at West Chester University, PA. She has taught in Ohio, Pennsylvania and Texas and was Director of New Horizons Orchestra, Baldwin Wallace University. She is currently conductor of the Northern Ohio Youth Orchestra Sinfonietta. Mrs. Willett began teaching in the Avon Local Schools in 2012 and is currently teaching Orchestra in grades 6-8, along with Circuit and Wired.  She brings a wealth of experience gained from her work as an orchestra director, teacher, adjudicator, clinician and guest conductor.  Her work has included all ages and stages of learners ranging from three year olds to senior citizens   When she is not teaching or conducting, Mrs. Willett enjoys spending time with Mr. Willett, and their two sons.
